Brosid T20 2022: Day 3 – Review

Two matches were played on the third day of the ongoing season Brosid T20 tournament. While Youth Alliance faced the Khalifa Cricket Academy in the first game, IK Collection locked horns against Mustallions Cricket Club in the second and final game of the day. Khalifa Cricket Academy and Mustallions Cricket Club managed to register crucial wins on the third day of the tournament.

In the game between Youth Alliance and Khalifa Cricket Academy, the former side opted to bat first. Anus Qureshi was the top-scorer for them with a 37-run knock while Israr Khan contributed 19 runs. They could only post 124 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Suryansh Jha, Guddu Khan and Mohd Farhan were the pick of the bowlers scalping two wickets each.

In response, KCC didn’t get off to a good start but Suryansh Jhan batted well to score 43 runs. He was well supported by Mukul Shukla scoring 26 runs. Their knocks helped the KCC to chase down the target in the final over of the game with three wickets in hand.

Mustallions CC won a high-scoring game comfortably

In the second game of the day, Mustallions Cricket Club opted to bat first and smash 195 runs in their 20 overs. Shoaib Siddique smashed a brilliant century amassing 106 runs from only 59 balls. Junaid Shibli also shone with the bat scoring 74 runs off 47 balls. Anuj Sharma picked up three wickets with the ball while Abhishek Dwivedi and Shubh Agarwal scalped a couple each.

In response, IK Collection’s team came out to bat and could score only 183 runs losing all their wickets. Prakash Shroti contributed 55 runs and Rahul Kapoor contributed 18 runs. Junaid Shibli took 4 wickets and Deepak Rana took 2 wickets. Cluster head Gaurav Kannaujia, Diwakar Mishra, Tarun Kumar, Chairman of Khusro College Mr. Sher Ali Jafri were present on behalf of Sahi Bandhu Gold Loan.
